Intro

"Draw Near" is a companion song to "Open Space." Both songs express God's invitations to us. "Draw Near" is about God's invitation to intimacy and how he waits for us to open our doors and let him in. The first lines that I got for this song are from the prechorus ,"I'm standing in the doorway of your living room, waiting for your invitation." I believe that many people who love the Lord, myself included, often keep him at arm's length because it seems easier. I hope that through this song, we can come in and sit a while, pause the frenzy and receive some oil of healing, gladness and hope.
